I get to have a first hand look at finacial problems. I have the luxury of paying out of state tuition for a college that charges a whole lot more than i can afford. This would seem like a problem but my method of thinking seems to make it just simply normal. In this day and age almost every family has an economic problem. We pay to much for things we don’t need, we borrow money we know will never be paid back, and we just don’t manage money well. This is a problem that almost the entire country has according to our economic standings. Is it crazy to buy things that you want because you know you will never have to pay back it all? No, i don’t believe it is, although it is not very smart it just may be acceptable. It leads us back to the old way of thinking if my neighbor can do it why can’t I?

It is this kind of thinking that has led us to this great recession that we our about to embark on. I believe that everyone needs to do their part to fix the economy. We need to pay back the loans that we can. Start paying for as much stuff as we can with cash. We also need to realize that even if the name of a company may be worth lots of money, it doesn’t mean that we should just lend them 800 billion dollars. We as a country need to stand strong and leave our money in the banks and the stock market and let hard working tax dollars bail our way out.
